So it’s March 21st and it snowed! The past few weeks have been a wonderful 55 degrees, and then this happened. I took this picture on my way to work this morning in disbelief, but I guess that should be typical as the weather is usually crazy in Connecticut during March but as the saying says, March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. What’s the weather like in your area?

I know the feeling! It’s still freezing in Chicago and we’re supposed to get snow Thursday. Hopefully it melts right away!

Yes just when we thought summer was right around the corner with the warmer weather, the snow comes! Haha the snow eventually did melt later that day, so hopefully you won’t have to endure the snow for a couple of days 🙂

In Melbourne today we had a cold morning and a warm afternoon, which makes it hard choosing what to wear!

Very true! And with the weather changing and either overdressing or underdressing, everyone is starting to get sick! I feel like it’s either be freezing in the morning or die of heat exhaustion later in the day from wearing too many layers lol 🙂

Yes I feel like I take the weather here for granted sometimes 🙂 I feel like there is never a perfect place to live as it’s either too hot or too cold, or problems with sand storms or hurricanes or even animals!

Waaah, I know how you feel – we were having a bout of warmer weather and suddenly it’s freezing again (in Finland). I hope it will warm up during the Easter break!

Thank you! Yes I’ve definitely needed my winter jacket the past few days but I see it’s going to be in the 60s this week so I’m hopeful! 🙂

10-14″ of snow expected tomorrow in Green Bay, WI. Guess I’ll probably not get the boat off her winter cradle & into the water for at least a couple more days. I mean months.

WOW that’s crazy!! I don’t think we have ever gotten that much snow at one time here in CT! Have you ever experienced having so much snow where you live that it goes past your windows and doors and blocks you in your house?

We don’t get that much snow here. Most winters we’ll have a foot of it on the ground at one time. Been here 30yrs and I think the most at one time was 17″. There was one time while a college student in lower Michigan many years ago when we woke up to an unexpected 37″ of snow. Overnight. Drifts up to windows, cars buried. It was a blast!

That’s awesome! Back in college we got a lot of snow too and I have fond memories and sledding down the hills and trying to climb on top of the giant snow piles that went as high as the buildings 🙂 I’m sure that some of the creative guys used the snow piled up to the door as a little refrigerator for beer haha 😀
